At the heart of BeeNZ are David and Julie Hayes, who oversee their honey’s journey from hive to jar. Bee health has always been a priority, along with knowing exactly where their honey comes from and caring for it every step of the way. By managing the process from beekeeper and extraction through to processing, packing and export, BeeNZ keeps a close connection to every jar that leaves their doors.

A visit to the BeeNZ retail store is a chance to taste and discover some of New Zealand’s beautiful honeys. Featuring Mānuka honey in a range of UMF™ grades, alongside native varieties such as Kānuka, Pohutukawa and Rewarewa honeys, plus honey sachets, lozenges and other honey products. The shop is also filled with gifts and goodies, making it an easy stop for locals looking for something special or visitors wanting to take a little piece of New Zealand home with them.

What makes BeeNZ different is the care behind it all. The business is a certified B Corp, with a strong focus on its people, community and the environment.

BeeNZ operates much like a hive, with every member of our team playing an important part. It’s a philosophy that has shaped who we are: nurturing nature, sharing our goodness, and crafting our honey with care from our family to yours.
