28 February - The second event takes riders into the beautiful Waitekohekohe Reserve. Tracks will be stay open to the public which are open exclusively for cycling, providing a unique opportunity to explore the reserve on two wheels. This event encourage health and wellbeing, showcases Waitekohekohe Reserve, while also giving the community a closer connection to the stunning Kaimai Mamaku ranges. Gold coin donation.
Both rides will finish with a community BBQ, creating space for people to come together, celebrate, and learn more about the Katikati Trails Group’s and Waitekohekohe vision. This includes showcasing completed trails, highlighting progress on current projects, and sharing exciting proposals for the future pathways in the pipelines.
